Beginning with a thought in 1999, 5
members of area bass clubs joined together with an idea to create a
new fresh bass club utilizing the waters of Presque Isle State Park
as their home. Dave Lefebre, Paul and Bob Hirosky, Chris Lipiec and
Bob Clark, pulled all their ideas together to form Presque Isle
Bassmasters in 2000.
Each having many years experience in
the sport of bass fishing, they combined their knowledge and passion
for the sport to create Erie's newest Bass Club. At this time there
are no other bass clubs operating in Erie. With this in mind
Presque Isle Bassmasters strives to provide local fisherman the
resources to bass fish on Lake Erie and the many surrounding
lakes.
Each member promoting Presque Isle
Bassmasters as much as they can they have already surpassed every
expectations they had. Paying 100% back to the field in all buddy
tournaments and 100% to the field on Thursday Night Tournaments, the
popularity of the club keeps growing.

only wants to promote the sport of bass fishing, then Presque Isle
Bassmasters is for you. Continuing to work even on the off season,
on programs such as " BASS Casting for Kids" and "PA Rod Loaner
Program" the members of this club want to continue to serve their
community while sharing the waters they surround.
